2018 Student Research Day
The annual the Safar Center Student Research Day took place on July 17th this year, and featured presentations from thirteen young trainees ranging from undergraduates to postdoctoral fellows.

Research Assistant Professor Travis C. Jackson, in the Department of Critical Care Medicine, has received a new R01 from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.
Dr. Chris Horvat Awarded Children’s Trust Grant
Safar Center Researcher Dr. Chris Horvat was recently awarded the Children’s Trust Grant from the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.
