Eleni H. Moschonas, PhD Receives Chuck Noll Foundation Research Grant

Eleni H. Moschonas, PhD, a postdoctoral fellow in the University of Pittsburgh Department of Neurological Surgery and a trainee in the Safar Center for Resuscitation Research’s NIH-funded T32 program, has received a Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research Early Career Research Grant.

Caitlin McNamara, MD, Bailey Petersen, PhD, DPT, and Ashley Russell, PhD, were named Scientists at the Safar Center for their outstanding investigations as young faculty members in the center.

Safar Center T32 Fellow Dr. Amy Maury

Dr. Amy Maury earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in Neuroscience from American University, where her doctoral research was part of a Phase III clinical trial evaluating a low glutamate diet’s effects on psychiatric symptoms, inflammation, and the gut microbiome in Gulf War Illness.
