On December 12th, visiting professor Dr. Sapna Kudchadkar presented Grand Rounds to the Department of Critical Care. Her lecture was titled “Illness Doesn’t Mean Stillness: Creating a Culture of Mobility for Critically Ill Children.”

Dr. Kudchadkar is the Director of the Johns Hopkins PICU Clinical Research Program, and an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at Johns Hopkins University. During her visit, Dr. Kudchadkar (pictured top row, 6th from right) also attended a mini reverse site visit where Safar Center Investigators and Critical Care Fellows presented their research to her.

Dr. Kudchadkar is also the Associate Editor for Social Media for the Journal of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, and she also presented an overview of the use of social media in pediatric critical care to our fellows and faculty.
