Safar Center Scientist Dr. Cameron Dezfulian was recently elected as a Fellow of the American Heart Association (AHA). The honor is awarded in recognition of Dr. Dezfulian’ s impressive career and research achievements, as well as his commitment to volunteer service. Dr. Dezfulian’ s work on phenotyping cardiac arrest and on the development of nitrite as a potential therapy highlights some of his current research efforts.
