Justin Azar, MD, completed his T32 training in June of 2020. He was a highly recruited PICU fellow from Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC, having received his MD degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Dr. Hülya Bayır, Associate Director of Safar Center was awarded with the prestigious Society for Free Radical Research-Europe Clinical Award Lecture.
Several Safar Center faculty members were honored at this year’s National Neurotrauma Meeting, which was held in Snowbird, Utah.
Every year, the Safar Center holds a Student Research Day, which gives students and young researchers the opportunity to present their summer projects and findings.
