Linda Ryan, research administrator and senior administrative staff member of the Safar Center, was recently recognized at the Chancellor’s Annual Staff Recognition Ceremony for 30 years of service to University of Pittsburgh.
Linda began her career at Pitt working in the office of the chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology. In 1994 she joined the Safar Center as the research administrator, and has been with us ever since. Linda is known around the Safar Center for her fabulous cooking, her scrupulous attention to grant details, and her ability to juggle countless projects simultaneously and get them to the finish line.
Linda’s favorite part of her job at the University is working with the Pediatric Critical Medicine Faculty and Fellows on their grants. Her most rewarding experience with the University has been building the team at the Safar Center.
