Sarah Svirsky, PhD received her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Barnard College and her PhD in Neurobiology from the Center for Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh.

Amanda Dave, MD completed a Pediatric residency at the University of Nebraska and is a pediatric critical care medicine fellow at UPMC Children’s Hospital Pittsburgh.
W. Michael Taylor, MD, MPH completed a pediatrics residency at the University of Utah and his pediatric critical care medicine fellowship training at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Dr. McNamara finished her training on our T32 in 2024. She was a pediatric critical care medicine fellow who was an award-winning and highly productive trainee during her T32 fellowship.
Dr. Peterson completed her training on our T32 in 2024. She came to our program with a PhD in Bioengineering-Neural Engineering and a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Pittsburgh.
Elizabeth Castellano, PhD received her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and her PhD in Chemistry and Biochemistry at Duquesne University.
