Dr. Caitlin McNamaraCaitlin McNamara, MD received her bachelor’s degree with honors from Georgia Institute of Technology and was an AOA graduate of the Pennsylvania State University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and is currently chief fellow in our pediatric critical care medicine training program. Her research is focused on characterizing the spectrum of multiple organ failure in infants and young children with abusive head trauma (AHT) and on optimizing the neurocritical care of these patients, working under the mentorship of Drs. Ericka Fink and Rachel Berger. Caitlin is also pursuing formal clinical training in neurocritical care.
