Safar Center T32 Fellow Hugues Yver, MDHugues Yver, MD received his bachelor’s degree in Physiology with honours from McGill University and his medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed pediatrics residency training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and spent several years as a hospitalist physician at CHOP and Boston Children’s Hospital. He joins the T32 program now in his third year of Fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. His research focuses on the use of blood-based biomarkers and the development of multimodal assessment tools for neuroprognostication in children after a cardiac arrest, under the mentorship of Safar Center Associate Director Dr. Ericka Fink.
