Safar Center Associate Director Sherry Chou, PhD, just received a notice of award for her new R21 grant, titled “MicroRNA Endotypes of Systemic Inflammation in Sub-Arachnoid hemorrhaGE (MESSAGE).” The study will investigate whether a biomarker can help indicate which subarachniod hemorrhage (SAH) stroke patients will “develop further injury and long-term disability.”
