Dr. Corina Bondi, Safar Center Associate Director of Executive Function and NeuropharmacologyDr. Corina Bondi, Safar Center Associate Director of Executive Function and Neuropharmacology, was recently awarded tenure and promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in the departments of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Neurobiology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

Dr. Bondi holds a Ph.D. in Neuropharmacology from the University of Texas Health at San Antonio and completed two postdoctoral fellowships in Neuroscience and PM&R at the University of Pittsburgh before joining the School of Medicine as faculty. Her work is focused on investigating complex cognitive deficits and distinct neurobehavioral and neurochemical alterations relevant to psychiatric disorders after traumatic brain injury (TBI). Dr. Bondi has also mentored and/or co-mentored a host of highly successful trainees at the Safar Center, many of whom have received awards for their work.
