Multi-Principal Investigators Drs. Robert Clark and Patrick Kochanek are pleased to report that their T32 training grant titled “Training in Pediatric Neurointensive Care and Resuscitation Research” (HD040686) was just renewed for years 26-30 by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD)/NIH. This longstanding grant has supported the rigorous research training of a host of highly successful post-doctoral trainees in the field of pediatric brain injury across multiple departments including critical care medicine, neurological surgery, PM&R, pediatrics, emergency medicine, and others. Many of the trainees have gone on to receive NIH awards or other independent funding as principal investigators and/or careers of national prominence. We are grateful to the NICHD for their continued support of our unique and valuable program.
