Safar Center Associate Director Robert Clark, MD, was recently awarded the CHP-endowed Chair in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.

To celebrate his appointment to the chair, Dr. Clark gave a Provost’s Inaugural Lecture on April 3rd, titled, “Bridging Biology and Big Data to Improve Outcomes after Pediatric Brain Injury.” Dr. Clark is a tenured Professor in the Departments of Critical Care Medicine, Pediatrics, and Translational Science, and he studies cell death mechanisms, and neurological disfunction after brain injury.
