In January 2020, Dr. Kochanek presented at the International Workshop on Pediatric Traumatic Brain Injury that was held in Bergamo and Brescia Italy. The symposium was focused around the publication of 2019 Guidelines for the Medical management of Severe Traumatic Brain Injury in Children and was attended by a large international audience. He gave lectures on Biomarkers in Pediatric TBI as Outcome Predictors, along with several presentations and panels addressing various aspects of the new guidelines, and a presentation on the future of pediatric TBI.
