Safar Center Associate Director, Rachel Berger, MD, was recently elected to the American Society for Clinical Investigation (ASCI), a medical society whose mission is to “support the scientific efforts, educational needs, and clinical aspirations of physician-scientists to improve human health.”
Dr. Berger is the very first child abuse pediatrician to be elected to this society since its inception in 1908.
