The Cohen Veterans Care Summit, “Spark a Care Revolution” took place on September 27th, and 28th in the Ronal Reagan Building in Washington D.C. The event was hosted by the Cohen Veterans Network, a nonprofit organization that focuses on providing mental health services for post-9/11 veterans, with the goal of fostering public-private partnerships that will advance current the state brain health care for veterans and service people in the United States Armed Forces.

The meeting, which focused on posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI) featured a remarkable speaker list including Philanthropist Steven A. Cohen, Veterans Administration Undersecretary, Dr. David Shulkin, Congressional Medal of Honor Recipients Kyle White and Ryan Pitts, Congressmen Phil Roe, MD, Tim Murphy, PhD, Tim Ryan, and Beto O’Rourke, among many others. Dr. Kochanek presented on the groundbreaking work of the U.S. Department of Defense funded Operation Brain Trauma Therapy consortium.
