Safar Center investigators and trainees were pleased to host a laboratory tour on July 6th and visit from Dr. Charles and Sharon Chabal and two of their children, Alex and Darah. The Chabal’s recently established the Chabal Endowment for Breakthroughs in Resuscitation Research at the Safar Center. In addition to the laboratory tour, several Safar Center investigators including Drs. Ericka Fink, Cailtin McNamara, Hugues Yver, Robert Clark, and Patrick Kochanek discussed their current research to update some of the ongoing work in the Center. We were pleased to meet Alex and Darah and once again are thrilled by this generous, important new endowment.
