The work of two Safar Center researchers was recognized at the 47th Annual Congress of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, which took place in San Antonio, Texas, from March 25th to March 28th this year.

Safar Center T32 Scholar Dr. Jessica Wallisch (pictured right) received the In-Training Award for her abstract, “Aquaporin-4 Inhibitor AER-271 Blocks Edema and Improves Outcomes in Pediatric Rat Cardiac Arrest.” Safar Center Scientist Dr. Ruchira Jha won the Star Research Award for her abstract, “Intracranial Pressure Trajectories: A Novel Tool to Inform Severe TBI Phenotypes.”
