Onome Oghifobibi, MD, a second-year fellow conducting research under the mentorship of Dr. Mioara Manole, received the Diversity in the Research Workforce Travel Award from the Society for Pediatric Research. The award was given in recognition of his research achievements in academic pediatrics and provides funding for travel expenses to the next annual Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) meeting. He gave a platform presentation at a special session hosted by the SPR president on his work on the effect of epinephrine in the cerebral microcirculation after experimental cardiac arrest.
