Guest Professor William Armstead, MD visits the Safar Center

Dr. William Armstead, Research Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Neurological Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, was a visiting professor at the Safar Center.  His guest lecture discussed the gender dependent neurovascular effects in pediatric TBI.  In reverse site visit fashion, research fellows and medical students also presented their current research to Dr. Armstead.  Dr. Armstead is also on the advisory committee of Dr. Mioara Manole, one of our current KO8 awardees.  We thank him for his visit to our center.
