Amy Wagner, MD Receives DOD Concept Award

Dr. Amy Wagner received a CDMRP Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Concept Award from the Department of Defense.  Competition for these awards was intense with funding at a level approaching an ~5% success rate.  The title of Dr. Wagner’s proposal was “Data modeling approaches for biomarkers in clinical traumatic brain injury.”  The goal of this research is to investigate novel approaches for modeling TBI biomarker data to better understand interrelationships between individual factors, clinically relevant biomarkers, and long term outcome in persons with severe TBI.
