T32 fellows Mioara Manole, MD and Ajit Sarnaik, MD chosen to present abstracts at Annual National Center for Medical Rehabilitation Research/NICHD Workshop in Washington, DC.

On October 4, 2007, T32 fellows, Mioara Manole, MD, and Ajit Sarnaik, MD, presented their current research at the Annual NCMRR Workshop.  The NCMRR sponsors a workshop on training and career development, that is especially targeted for emerging researchers in the broad area of medical rehabilitation.  Dr. Manole’s abstract was titled “Assessment of regional cerebral blood flow after pediatric asphyxial cardiac arrest: a serial, non-invasive, MRI study” and Dr. Sarnaik’s abstract was titled “The potential influence of ABCB1 polymorphisms in traumatic brain injury (TBI).”
