Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC)’s COL. Poropatich and Mr. Read visit the Safar Center

Colonel Ronald Poropatich and Mr. Robert Read from the Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC), U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command/Fort Detrick, Maryland, visited the Safar Center September 27, 2007.  Their visit coincided with the new funding by TATRC of the first clinical trial of the novel Emergency Preservation and Resuscitation (EPR) clinical trial grant application that was submitted by principal investigator Dr. Samuel Tisherman.  We are grateful to TATRC for their support and Dr. Lyn Yaffe for his leadership in helping bring this trial to a reality.
